Lamoka Waneta Lakes Association

Join the Lake Association

The Lamoka Waneta Lakes Association is a public not for profit group working to preserve, protect and maintain the health of our lakes ecosystems through education, best management practices and the involvement of government agencies.

  • Biannual public meeting, May and September.

  • Annual Golf Tournament 

  • Annual Pancake Breakfast

  • Annual Boat Parade

The lakes association is a member of the Citizens Statewide Lake Assessment Program (CSLAP).  Volunteers collect water samples from both lakes from June to September for analysis.  The lakes association partners with other government agencies to obtain monies to perform work throughout the watershed to reduce nutrient and sediment loading.

You don't need to know anything about lake ecology or water testing to get involved.  Our lakes a precious resource and it takes everyone to help protect them.  Become a good lake steward help out at one of our events, learn to take water samples or just support the association by becoming a member.
